ការសិក្សាលើប្រព័ន្ធនៅក្នុងថរយន្តប្រព័ន្ធអគ្គីសនីរថយន្តបានចាត់ទុកជាប្រព័ន្ធដែលមានសារះសំខាន់ក្នុងដំណើរការប្រព័ន្ធផ្សេងៗ​នៅក្នុងឡានដូចជាការជំនួយទៅដល់ឧបករណ៍ដូចជា វិទ្យុ defroster ការសាកអាគុយ ថ្ម និង​ប្រព័ន្ធដែលដែលត្រូវភ្លើងអគ្គីសនីផ្សេងៗ។ប្រព័ន្ធខ្សែភ្លើង និង សៀវគ្វីអគ្គីសនី​ ជាផ្នែកមូលដ្ធានរបស់លំហូរអេឡិត្រុងអគ្គីសនី។ដោយសិក្សាលើប្រភ្លើងក្នុងរថយន្ត សៀវគ្វីសគ្គីសនីរថយន្តមានពីរ គឺ សៀវគ្វីអគ្គីសនីតជស៊េរី (series circuit )ជាសៀវគ្វីដែលមានគ្រឿងបង្គុំសគ្គីសនីតភ្ជាប់គ្នាពីចុងមួយទៅចុងមួយ និង  ប្រព័ន្ធអគ្គីសនីតជាខ្នែង(parallel circuit) គឺជាសៀវគ្វីដែលមានគ្រឿងបង្គុំសគ្គីសនី​តភ្ជាប់គ្នាជាខ្នែង។ ប្រព័ន្ធដើម្បីប្រើប្រាស់ និង ផលិតអគ្គីសនីវិញនៅក្នុង​រថយន្ត​មានដូចជា
-       អាគុយ ( Battery) មានថាមពលអគ្គីសនីដើម្បីបញ្ជោះម៉ាស៊ីន និង​ ចែកចាយថាមពលទៅផ្នែកផ្សេងៗ។
-       ស្តាទ័រ( Starter)​គឺឧបករណ៍មាននាទីចាប់ផ្តើមបង្វិលម៉ាស៊ីនឬ បញ្ជោះម៉ាស៊ីន។
-       អាទែរណាទ័រ( Alternator) មានទួនាទីបញ្ចូលនូវបរិមាណថាមពលអគ្គីសនី​ ឬ សាកអាគុយ។

ការចំលងចលនាគឺ​ជាថាមពលដែលទទួលបានពីការភ្ជាប់នៃផ្នែកផ្សេងទៀតក្នុងពេលមានចលនាពីម៉ាស៊ីនរបស់រថយន្តដែលបញ្ជូនថាមពលទៅកង់ដែលទទួលចលនាដើម្បីផ្តល់ថាមពលកង់មុខពីរឬកង់ក្រោយពីរ។​ ក្នុងការ​ចំលងចលនាពីមួយទៅមួយក្នុងនោះការចំលងចលាដោយមានការប្រទាក់ដោយមានសំណុំកង់ស្ពឺពីរដែលជាឧបករណ៍ក្នុងការបញ្ចូថាមពល។
-       ការបញ្ចូនចលនា (transmission) ក្នុងការបញ្ចូនចលិនា​នេះគឺសំដៅលើប្រអប់លេខដែលមាននាទីក្នុងការបញ្ចូនថាមពលពីដង់ម៉ានីវែលនៃម៉ាស៊ីនទៅកាន់អាប្រដែលវិល។​​​​ ប្រភេទនៃការបញ្ចូនចលនាមាន ដោយ​អូតូម៉ាទិច​ ដៃ

ដោយការសិក្សាលើម៉ាស៊ីនចំហេះខាងក្នុងស៊ីឡាំង ការឆេះបានមកពីការប្រេងឥន្ធនះបាញ់ចូលខាងក្នុងបន្ទប់ចំហេះក្នុងស៊ីឡាំង។​​  ដោយគ្រប់ម៉ាស៊ីនចំហេះក្នុងប្រភេទណាក៏គេតែងតែឃើញនូវសរីរាង្គ​ ដូចជា ពិស្តុង​ គឺជាឧបករណ៏បង្គុំមេកានិចមួយដែលមានរាងមូលដែលមាននាទីបំណែននូវរាល់ខ្យស់ ប្រេង ស្រូប បំណែនដើម្បីបញ្ចេញចោល រុញច្រានដែល​វាជាឆ្នុករស់មួយនៅខាងក្នុងរបស់ស៊ីឡាំង​ ។​ ដង​ម៉ានវែល​ (crankshaft) ជា អាប្រមួយរាងបត់ចុះបត់ឡើងជាកែងដែលធ្វើពីដែកថែបពិសេស​ ហើយមាននាទីរង់នូវរាល់កំលាំងដែលរុញច្រានពីប៊ីប៊្យេល( connecting rod) ភ្ជាប់ពិស្តុង និង ទប់លំនឹង ។​ សូប៉ាប់​ មាននាទីបិទផ្ចិតផ្លូវបឺតខ្យល់ចេញចូលរបស់គុយឡាស​ ដែលវាមានស៊ូបាប់ប្រេង និង ភ្លើង។

ដោយផ្អែកលើការសិក្សាទៅលើប្រព័ន្ធនៃការចែកចាយប្រេងទូទៅនៃម៉ាស៊ីនសាំង និង ម៉ាស៊ូត ក្នុងនៅក្នុងប្រព័ន្ធរថយន្តវា​ ដូចជាមានភាពរញេរញៃដូចប្រព័ន្ធផ្សេងទៀតដែរ។ វាមាននាទីសំខាន់ក្នុងប្រព័ន្ធម៉ាស៊ីនឡានទាំងមូលដោយស្ថិតប្រព័ន្ធផ្តល់ប្រេងមានដូចខាងក្រោម
·         ធុងប្រេង(fuel tank) ជាទូទៅធុងប្រេងឥន្ធនៈមាននាទីសម្រាប់ផ្ទុកនូវបរិមាណប្រេងក្នុងការប្រើសម្រាប់ឡានក្នុងពេលបើកបរ។
·          ប៉ុមបូមប្រេង​ (pump)​​ មាននាទីក្នុងការបូមប្រេងចែកចាញទៅផ្នែកផ្សេងៗ ។​ ប៉ុមបូមប្រេងជាញឹកញាប់ដោយភ្ជាប់ទៅម៉ាស៊ីនដោយភ្ជាប់ចលនាវិលនៃម៉ាស៊ីនដើម្បីបូមប្រេង។
·         តំរងប្រេង (filter)​ គឺប្រើដើម្បីចម្រេះនូវកំទិចកំទីនៅក្នុងប្រេង។
·         ប៊ិចបាញ់ (injector) មាននាទីបាញ់បញ្ចូលប្រេងឥន្ធនៈទៅក្នុងស៊ីឡាំងដោយក្បាលបាញ់ប្រេង(នៅក្នុងភាគល្អិតតូច។
·        កូនជ្រូក ( injector pump)​​ ឬ (Caburator) មាននាទីក្នុងការលាយប្រេងនឹងខ្យល់ ទៅតាមបរិមាណលាយដោយដំណើរការរបស់វា​ ដែលស្ថិតក្នុងម៉ាស៊ីនម៉ាស៊ូត។

ការបញ្ចេញនូវឧស្ម័នពុលបានមកពីការឆេះនៅក្នុងស៊ីទ្បាំងរួចបញ្ចេញទៅបរិយាកាសខាងក្រៅដោយតាមបំពងស៊ីម៉ាំង​ ដោយបំពងស៊ីម៉ាំងមានការច្នៃតាមបច្ចេកវិទ្យា វាបានកាត់បន្ថយនូវបរិមាណឧស្ម័នពុលដ៏ច្រើន។ ប្រព័ន្ធបញ្ចេញឧស្ម័នដែលកាត់បន្ថយបិរមាណឧស្ម័នពុលមាន​ដូចខាងក្រោម
-       ដង​បញ្ចេញឧស្ម័ន (Exhausted Manifold)​ មាននាទីបញ្ចូលនូវបរិមាណសារធាតុពុលតាម ដោយភ្ជាប់ពីម៉ាស៊ីនទៅខាងក្រៅ។
-       Catalytic coverter​​ មាន​នាទីកាត់បន្ថយនូវការបំពុលខ្លាំងគឺ NOx, Co, HC

     អោយមានការបំពុលតិចវិញ គឺ CO2, H2O, H2
-      
-Muffler​( បំពង់ស៊ីមាំងធំ) មាននាទីបន្ថយនូវសំលេងពីបន្ទុះ។

Internal Combustion Engine (ICE)

              In general ICE is a heat engine and this can be defined as: “ A heat engine is a device which converts the chemical energy of a fuel into thermal energy” Such thermal energy is used to produce mechanical energy at the output shaft.

        The conversion process of the chemical energy in a fuel into mechanical energy at the output shaft can be explained as follows: 1. Chemical energy of fuel is converted to thermal energy by oxidation with air (O2) in the combustion chamber. 2. Thermal energy raises the temperature and pressure of the gases within the engine cylinder. 3. High pressure gases expands against the resistance of engine mechanism and linkage. 4. The expansion process (power) forces the engine mechanism to reciprocate (piston) and rotate (crank). 5. Piston reciprocating ups and downs causes the crankshaft to rotate giving the output shaft a rotational torque.       Engines can be classified in many different ways, as they have many attributes, whereby making them capable of meeting a variety of needs and requirements. 

      The followings are the most used methods of engine classification: 

      There are so many parts that constitute an internal combustion engine, which makes it a very complex system. Whereby, each part must act in a perfect synchronization with the others to make up: 

-a well defined machine -a well balanced operation -a well established timing            Most IC engines , both SI & CI, operates on either four or two stroke cycle, where: **stroke–is piston travel between the two dead centers **cycle–is a process to be completed once and continue to repeat itself in a constant duration. Therefore 4-stroke cycle requires pistons travel 4 times between top & bottom dead centers ,while the 2-stroke cycle requires pistons travel 2 timesThe main types of cycles to be considered are as follows : • 4-stroke SI engine cycle • 4-stroke CI engine cycle • 2-stroke SI engine cycle • 2-stroke CI engine cycle       4-stroke SI engine cycle Comprises of four piston stroke to complete one operational cycle through two revolutions of the crankshaft: 1. Induction stroke 2. Compression stroke 3. Power stroke 4. Exhaust stroke4-stroke CI engine cycleThese are similar to 4-stroke SI engine cycle with the following exceptions : 1. Induction -similar to SI except that only air is admitted without fuel. 2. Compression –similar to SI except that only air is compressed, and fuel will be added near the end of this stroke. 3. Power –after combustion, power stroke is similar to SI 4. Exhaust –similar to SIEmissions Four major emissions produced by IC engines : ** unburnthydrocarbon (HC) due to rich mixture of air/fuel **carbon monoxides (CO) not enough O2 to form CO2 ** nitrogen oxides (NOx) excess O2 and high combustion temperature ** solid particulates carbon particles as black smoke or soot  Methods to reduce engine emissions Two methods are generally used to reduce engine emissions and pollution rate : 1. Improve engine and fuel technology to obtain better combustion process. 2. Exhaust after treatment system Using thermal and catalytic converters that promote chemical reaction in the exhaust to convert harmful emission to acceptable forms such as (CO2, H2O ,N2)Discussion1.  ICE is a heat engine that covert chemical energy in fuel into mechanical work at the output shaft. 2. Most ICE are reciprocating type, whereby pistons reciprocate back and forth inside the cylinder. 3. Important technological inventions that influence the development of ICE are: **discovery of crud oil resulted in the development of reliable fuel appropriate for ICE use. 4. Two methods for engine emissions reduction: -Engine and fuel modification -Exhaust after treatment system
